I've been scared, I've been scarred, But standing still won't get me far. I've found courage to test fate, To wear these scars as war paint. I am broken, not yet dead, For all of me I have bled. Nobody knew what was happening. First came reports of large wild cats being seen in the city and this was quickly followed by reports of missing people. No bodies were found but everyone believed that the cats were responsible. With the number of sightings on the rise, people were advised to to stay in there home as the authorities handled the situation.  Running down the path I knew I needed to stop. I'd lost my breath not to long back and it felt like my legs would give out at any second. But I was afraid that if I stopped it would catch up. I didn't know what it was, all I knew was I didn't want it to catch me. I risked a look back and missed a stray root that jutted out onto the path. I fell face first and slid a short distance which turned me on my side facing the way I had come.
